I don't know if St. John's, in their long, glorious history, has ever had a team this bad, so you know he has to be right. The question is, how quickly will it turn around, and how high will they climb. We will see.

People keep saying that but would a team soooo bad hang with the best teams in the conference? 2 close games against X, a close game against Nova and a 1 point loss where we shot 40% from the FT line against Seton Hall. We're not good but we aren't historically bad. Yes, the most losses in a season in a century but it's not like we aren't even competitive.
stever20 wrote:far from me from defending St John's- but just 12 years ago they had a year where they were 1-15 in conference play, finished 6-21, and didn't even make the BET. Stony Brook, St Francis NY, Holy Cross, Niagara, UCLA, and Georgetown were their 6 wins that year. So it's not like this years team is that much worse- add in 2 conference losses to that team, and then a BET loss, and it's 24 losses.
