If you want to insist on using the raw numbers, which NOONE other than you does - just RPI rankings.... The AAAAC is closer to the Colonial, Mid American, Mountain West and Summit conferences than the Big East.

Being ranked 8th in the country RPI and raw RPI numbers similar to Colonial, MAC, Summit, etc ... And you call that a "strong" year. What alternate universe do you live in?

The AAC has closed the gap this year considerably. Also in Ken Pom, which is starting to mean more and more to selection- Big East is #5 now and AAC is #7 now.

U do realize that the rankings include a team (SMU) that is ineligible due to cheating and without their lofty rpi, the "American " would be even worse than they are now......

SMU is helping the other rpi in the league though. They lost to Temple and Tulsa.

The University of Cincinnati is not "cincy" it is "UC", not one grad, Cincinnati Ohio resident every uses the term "cincy" when referring to UC.

it would be like calling IU "indy" , or OU "ohioy" come on get with the program..

I'd also like for you to think of chewing tinfoil and fingernails scraping on a chalkboard. :D

stever must have an alarm or trigger that goes off if this thread drops past the 2nd page of the topic/thread index. Had to bump a nearly 2 week old thread, but we're the ones that have the aaaaac obsession. Like the tool he is he will now defend Houston's, Tulsa's, Temple, and Cincy's weak resume while bashing similar BE resume's, but he's not an aaaaac troll.

Edit: For added emphasis, nearly 100 of the now 335 posts in this thread are from stever. That's nearly 30% of the total posts, if that's not trolling behavior I don't know what is.

Stever, the AAC is much closer to the Mid-American, Summit and Colonial conferences than they are to the Big East in the RPI.

There's only so many different ways I can say the same thing.

Houston isn't defendable...

Tulsa is in the top 50 in RPI and Ken Pom. They actually played a good OOC SOS(like Temple and Cincy). That's why they are all in so much better shape than Creighton. The resumes are NOT similar at all. Well, Creighton's resume is similar to Houston's. I don't think either is all that close quite frankly.

Stever, on Lunardis bracketology, Tulsa isn't even listed on the bubble. At least Creighton is in the Next Four Out. So how are Tulsa in "such better shape" if one of the most accurate bracketologists has Creighton on the bubble and not Tulsa...

On the seed list that Lunardi put out yesterday- Tulsa was the 3rd team out. Creighton was the 7th team out.

Didn't you just say that Creighton's resume wasn't similar??

Why, yes you did. But here you are crapping on Creighton's chances while defending a similar aaaaac resume. Even your go to boy Joey brackets says they're similar, so which is it?? Like I said, right on cue.

3rd team out and 7th team out pretty big difference.

And sorry look at this and say with a straight face that these are similar resumes
