some huge games. Georgetown/Butler really a must win for both teams. Should be a desperate game for sure....

will be interesting to see if Seton Hall can do to Marquette again what they did 1st game....

And Creighton/Nova game should be interesting to some degree- or have the wheels fallen off for Creighton?

Seton Hall is about to rip off three straight wins and play themselves into the tourney. Marquette is tough despite their rpi, but at the Rock the hall should prevail.

The gtown v butler game is interesting. I'm starting to think gtown has a better shot at the tourney. i would love to have that uconn loss back.

Providence just needs to keep a pulse. Might be a tight game early, but as long as Dunn and BentilBentil stay in the floor they should cruise.

Nova will win by 20. Yeah, I said it.

Xavier could win by 40. but they will call off the dogs and keep it within a couple dozen. Xavier is awesome and the johnnies are just getting worse by the day.

Hall is looking like the fourth team in with Georgetown and Butler fighting for the fifth spot. Will be a massive game.

Yeah, I think the winner of Georgetown vs. Butler is an quasi elimination game....loser probably goes to NIT. Winner still has some tourney hopes.

to me Seton Hall/Marquette is a huge one.....

If Seton Hall wins, they have 6 tough games left with Butler, Georgetown, PC and X. They would be at 16 wins, with game left each with St John's and DePaul. If they can get the Marquette win, they would only need to win the 2 home games in that 6 game group to make the tourney- assuming wins over St John's and DePaul.... Otherwise, they would need to get a 3rd win in that 6 tough game stretch.

So this for Seton Hall is their wiggle room game IMO. Win and they are for all intents and purposes in. Lose, and that win over Creighton loses a ton of value.

Or win by 8 like they did last time.

I think it'll be a blowout at their place. But I really hate the notion that SJU is getting worse by the day. Maybe this Villanova fan should go read Jay wrights comments about the job chris Mullin is doing getting these guys to play hard despite a rough season. Novas golden boy gave nothing but praise to Mullin, and also had an 10-18 season at Hofstra when he started coaching. So he knows what it's like. So to bash St. John's over and and over is getting ridiculous. I've been a lurking St. John's fan for awhile on this site, and I've come here more this year than any because we suck and I like to see what's going on with other big east schools.

And every day I come on here and it's just my school getting ripped over and over. I know it's mostly just one troll, but come on, when will someone put a stop to this?

That would be ok with me. 20-2 has a nice ring to it.

Well there you have it. No Pivot presence for the little cats. Creighton wins by 7 - since they have nuthin' to lose anyways.
May as well play the spoiler.

Besides..."It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", especially when the Bluejays whup the wildcats and confound the faithful. If the Jays regain their shooting touch, then "Oh my God, not Againnn!"

Wednesday’s game against Villanova will come on the three-year anniversary of the last time the Wildcats lost at The Pavilion, their cozy, on-campus venue. Villanova has won 36 straight games there. The Wildcats also play games at the Wells Fargo Center, and Wednesday’s contest will be the first since Providence snapped Villanova’s 31-game home-court winning streak with a Jan. 24 overtime victory.
Here's to keeping your losing streak alive.
