Holy Crap, thanks for posting that. Wow, that explains a lot. We knew the Speed Channel spots were going to be an issue, but I just got used to going 30 channels past ESPN1/2 to find FS1 the past couple years. So is this issue up to each individual local cable provider? Here in North Florida, lower Alabama we get SEC network and Fox Sports Florida right next to ESPN1/2 (and NO BTN, BTW)

Before Xavier joined the Big East. I used to come home, turn on the TV to ESPN while i used my computer then just flip between ESPN/2 all day. CBS Sports (where FS1 is typically located near) basically never existed from my viewpoint. So the closer the better.

Wow, it's about time. I've never been a fan of Jay n Dan. I truly, do not know what they were thinking. Did they do any focus groups or pilots on them? I felt like the idea was "Hey, let's make a sportscenter, But, way more obnoxious! I found just the guys."

It just doesn't seem that hard. You just need sports guys that can talk. How simple is PTI?

Yeah I remember the VERY first night of FS1. They were advertising the next day's NFL game on Fox and one of them started literally screaming the team names that were going to play. Just think a lot of folks were like click and never came back.

There were sometimes after Big East games when it was enjoyable. But ESPN has SportsCenter down to a science and you really can't beat em at their own game. Fox is going to have to get clever, or accept their reality in the second tier with CBSSN and NBCSN.

yeah. one thing espn is great at is finding these young anchors. Lindsey Czarniak prime example. What you see from her on ESPN is exactly like she was here in DC on Channel 4. For ESPN just seems like they grow on tree's. Not sure why Fox hasn't been able to come up with something to compete. And it's not just fox- look at MLB network, NFL network- they find anchors pretty easily. But not Fox.
