It's akin to playing vs. USF, UCF and Tulane. Just terrible... And just think UCONN a team that will be on the bubble in March will have to post FIVE total games (and maybe a 6th in their conf tourney vs that kind of dreck).

UCF is projected higher in the RPI than St John's is. And none of the AAC teams remotely close to what Coppin St is.

Good thing nobody in that conference has to play USF twice (Memphis, Cincinnati, Houston), it would be terrible if any bubble teams had to deal with that RPI drain.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

@Stever20, I know you aren't a homer (except for AAC) but it is still pretty brash for a Georgetown fan to be complaining about RPI killers.

Three easy wins tonight. Nice job.

Graphic said that Creighton scored 100 points in consecutive games for the first time since 1966.

Those games were:
Jan 29th, 1966 - Creighton 104, Idaho State 95.
Feb 2nd, 1966 - Creighton 115, Memphis State 82.

So true

I walked in to a local bar in south Kona hawaii today around 4'ish. Local crowd, lots of bikers, pool hall, people tending to be real drunk by this time (some dude in his 50's puking over the rail outside the entrance). To my delight, the big blue V was on one of the main TVS. I didn't ask to put it on, they just had it going in a room by itself. The manager went around putting the Monday night football game on a little later, but I mentioned I was paying attention to Creighton beating the crap out if coppin state, so that game stayed in (with a little sound).

I'm sure Stever can find a negative to that individual story. But I loved it.

Copping state would finish in the top 10 of conference of Americans. No worse playing them than usf or UCF or Tulane or ecu.

so so funny. Coppin St has a projected RPI of 324.....

ECU's projected RPI is 174
UCF is 198
Tulane is 213
USF is 260

USF is 64 spots ahead of Coppin St. They are that bad.

By the way, at the Pavillion tonight:

With 5:58 to play in the 1st half, Josh Hart banked in a layup to put Villanova up 30-3. At that point, Penn had been held to 1 field goal, a 3-pointer that made it 14-3. The score could have been even worse, because the Cats missed a bunch of free throws.

Also, our old friend Steve Donahue is coaching the Quakers this year. In the first ever college hoops telecast in FS1 history, Donahue was the losing coach in Providence's OT win vs Boston College. He spent last season as an FS1 hoops announcer.
