Iowa State jumps Providence by winning at Cincinnati.
Cincinnati stays locked at 22 after losing at home to Iowa State.
Cincinnati actually gained 2 spots the other week after losing to Xavier.

Cincinnati has beaten who, VCU and George Washington.
GW was exposed by DePaul.
VCU has no good wins.

Cincinnati keeps losing and just refuses to leave the Top-25.
Seriously, what's the deal with Cincinnati.
What has to f--kin happen for these guys to drop?
WTF??? RPI at 70. Just go the F away. Nobody wants to look at you anymore.

These 3 teams have beaten no one:
Cincinnati.
Pitt.
Louisville.

You get the benefit of the doubt when you play teams. GW even with the DePaul game is #27. 3 losses for Cincy by 14 points against top 10 teams. You play top 10 teams close like that- you aren't going to drop much(especially with a lot of other teams at the bottom of the top 25 keep on losing).

Why did PC drop and Iowa St pass them?

UMass is 6-5. lost to UCF and Florida Gulf Coast. They are awful. 2-5 last 7 games. A win over them means pretty much nothing. Last week PC was ahead of Iowa St by 4 votes. Pretty damn easy to see why voters would be impressed with Iowa St there.

Look, I get it.

These wins make you worthy of a #22 ranking, as long as you play and lose to 2 Big East teams and Iowa State:
#70 Cincinnati:
149 Western Carolina.
337 Robert Morris.
233 Bowling Green.
175 Pine Bluff.
335 Southeastern Louisiana.
226 Nebraska.
27 George Washington.
296 Morgan State.
202 Norfolk State.
161 VCU.

It's not just that they played those 3 teams- but they were all close games.

also, if you look at Ken Pom, they're still #21.

Hawaii.
Getting no votes.
2 close losses to Top-10 RPI teams.
Better SOS than Cincinnati.
Better RPI than Cincinnati.

Cincinnati needs to go.
This is my last post on this topic.

Stever, Cincy lost 2 of those 3 games on their HOME floor. Sorry, but if you can't beat at least one of two Top 25 teams on your home floor you probably should not be ranked. What do they say a home floor usually provides a 6 point spread advantage?

and one of those RPI top ten teams is Texas Tech.

The current RPI still has a few weeks of conference play before it gets accurate at all.

Sorry, I'll take 3 losses to Xavier, Butler, and Iowa St over 2 losses to Oklahoma and Texas Tech any time.

look at the teams right behind them though....
Baylor
South Carolina(could see them ahead)
4 loss UCLA team
UConn
Oregon
Gonzaga
Pitt
GW(who they beat and just got killed by DePaul)

who would you put ahead of them from that group? I get South Carolina. But anyone else, I'm not really seeing at all.

Is Stever the PR guy for the AAC?

I say that because there is absolutely no logical reason why Cincy should be ranked at this point. They have three loses to good teams, and absolutely no good victories (there is a case for GW, maybe)

I also don't understand why Xavier is not in the Top 5. They proved they belong there after being 12-0 and having the top SOS/RPI. No reason why they cannot be at the very least the third best team in the country

look at the teams immediately behind them. One of them is a 4 loss UCLA team. Another is GW, a team they beat.
