It is only a matter of time before Uconn is back in the BE. We will only accept them if they grant media rights and deal with FB. 10 home and homes will be great for rips and tv.

I am not worried about us making the tournament.

Well then you better take care of business in conference, 12-6 probably doesn't get you in unless you win the auto-bid. Remember they left SMU out a couple seasons ago with a 23-8 (12-6) record and your conference rpi was stronger that year. But according to you it's the BE that's in trouble and is the weak ass conference.

so wait, I'm confused. I thought all Big East fans said that the post season didn't mean anything, that the season is what matters. So, now for AAC, the post season matters for football. So which is it? Can't have your cake and eat it too.

0-5 and counting. Tulsa gave up 45 in the 1st half to V. Tech.

Not sure many people said the post season didn't mean anything. The Big East has been great during the regular season but has under performed during the NCAA tournament. Not sure many people will argue with that. The AAC football postseason so far has been a joke as well...

You are confused. Big East fans care about college BASKETBALL. But we also enjoy watching schools who have proud basketball traditions falter because they sold their souls for the almighty FB dollar (at the expense of all other sports programs in their schools). College FB has killed long standing college rivalries. Syracuse and BC in the ACC, Mizzou and Texas A&M in the SEC, Maryland in the Big10. Temple, UCONN and Cincy trying to act like they are big time FB programs when they are not. You reap what you sow.

Secondly, we compete against other schools (for recruits, TV$, media attention, etc). So when they are not successful, I am happy.

Additionally this is karma. You (AAC board moderator) and Bearcat Bounce (AAC board frequenter and HLOH troll), had a lot to say about the eventual demise of the BE or are quick to rush to the board when we don't meet expectations. Both are quick to temper our enthusiasm and defend the conf you love ON A B.EAST BOARD!!!

Lastly I am thrilled that you have been wrong at every turn these past three years. The BE is one of the top BB conferences in the country. It has 3 top 10 teams and 4 top 20 teams. The AAC won exactly one tourney game last year, with 2 bids and are looking like a 1-2 bid conference this year.

So excuse me while I have my cake and eat it too.

So wait, I'm confused. Your the one who said the regular season doesn't mean anything, that post season is what matters. So which is it? Let me guess, it's which ever makes the BE look bad and makes the AAC look good in your eyes, isn't it? Of course it is. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

I was the one who said that a conference that is more top heavy- like what the Big East is this year(for the first time in the NBE)- is better. The conference top to bottom isn't as strong as in years 1 or 2 but because the top 4 teams are so good- folks don't see that. They see the top teams. Folks on here were like no, it's all about the depth and that's what's important. As this year is showing- that's a joke.

I would also say for the AAC in football- they still have Houston, Memphis, and Navy to go. You know, their top 3 teams. If those 3 win, the AAC has a decent bowl season. Hell, you could make the case if they go 1-7, but beat FSU, it's a good bowl season.

Think it's hysterical 2 Nova fans talking crap about postseason play when Nova has crapped the bed the last 2 years in the postseason.
