I applaud you for your efforts, it will be tough - and growth will be very slow without a major network backing you, but it can and will work as long as you do everything regularly and make sure you have a backup plan if guests don't call, etc. Your listeners will expect your show even if you're sick or out of town with the family.

Finally, use your resources! Several of our teams have bloggers or podcasters that I'm sure would like to help/partner with you.

Thanks for the link! I've worked in media a bit but never as a podcaster, only as an unpaid journalist (via credentials to games through Rushthecourt). Not expecting any huge follower base here but the responses have been great and it would be nice to just develop a small but loyal subscriber base. I've met some other bloggers on press row and also interacted with a number via twitter so I think I can easily find someone to come on once a week. Will keep everyone posted - the goal is to record the first one this Sunday.
