Marquette puts themselves on the right side of the bubble.

Seton Hall still lurking too.

Looks like the bracketologists are agreeing.

At this point, I'd agree we'd have 6. If Seton Hall can beat Wichita State, maybe 7???

Maybe???

Shhhhh, don't tell stever....

Actually if shu beats Wichita I think it is more a matter of 6 looking real good with some room for error. But I think the conference is still a year or two away from sending 7.

Now Nova,

Stop bitching about DePaul and talk more about the 6 teams that could make the NCAA Tournament....and having some success in the tourney....and not just being selected on Selection Sunday.

Much better topic to discuss.

If I had to guess, Marquette is squarely on the bubble. They really lack the signature out-of-conference win.

LSU has fallen off the face of the Earth, Wisconsin stinks and Arizona State is probably an NIT team.

those are ok- but the big reason why Marquette is squarely on the bubble, and will remain there, is the rest of the OOC schedule. 332 OOC SOS. Overall SOS is 100.

Obviously I'm biased, but a Creighton win at Oklahoma should erase that Loyola wart. A tall task, but it happened last year.

Of course, we can't go 0-8 to start conference play either.

doesn't change the rest of the OOC schedule though. 4 teams projected 260 or worse. 284 overall. With 3 losses to that schedule.

To me, the best case for 6 is Seton Hall if they can win on Saturday.

Playing at Oklahoma is going to make that difficult. Would love to see it tho.
