Just looking at Big 12's contract- it's at least 4 on Thursday- but doesn't mention the network. And also it includes opening weekend and Thanksgiving weekend.

And I would say college football is moving more and more away from Thursday night games due to the NFL. And next year may be worse if the CBS package got extended whole season.

So when Big Fox takes the best game it hurts FS1, but when ABC takes the best game it doesn't hurt ESPN? Gotcha!

There are weekends where ESPN has the best game due to the SEC deal.... 2 weekends the ESPN game was #1 game on tv that weekend. 1 of those- top 2 games were ESPN. With the ESPN game of Michigan St/Michigan beating the ABC game. Even some weekends where ABC beat ESPN, it was only by 10k viewers.

The reality is that when Big FOX takes the best game, it is a good thing because Big FOX is awesome. And when other games end up on FS1, it is still a good thing because that is a thousand times better than an interweb stream on espn3. And when FS2 takes the game that is still a good thing because those are the type of games that normally wouldn't even have a television crew present anyway.

stever doesn't get it though. That's just stever being stever.

Steeevvverrrrr. UNF (North Florida) is joining the AAC. They are looking for a highly proactive, knowledgeable, and articulate guy to head up their new fanboards. I nominated you, Steverino. ;)
