Once schools book a tournament, guarantee games, existing contracts and challenge series, open dates can be scarce.

Creighton, which finishes its BracketBusters obligations on Saturday at Loyola, is working around challenge series with the Big 10 and Pac 12. WSU has the Mountain West series, Tulsa and is looking to start a road series against a Power 5 conference team next season.

Is the BE/PAC-12 Challenge done? Both leagues are Fox properties so broadcast will be FS1 & 2. Perhaps just working out the final kinks in the contract or are they waiting "for the right moment" to announce it?

It has supposedly been in the works for a while now. If they have it worked out or close to it I would expect them to wait until football season to announce it.

I think that was just an uninformed statement by a Wichita writer who doesn't know what relationships the Big East has.

The Bruce Rasmussen (CU AD) comments have been discredited on the bluejayunderground.com, so those "facts" by a bored Wichita fan/columnist in the middle of a horrific losing skid for the Shockers should be taken with a grain of salt.

His publisher is quite happy with all the hits tho...

Thanks! It was amazing. I got to spend basically two full days in macchu picchu, one with a guide and one on my own. One of the best experiences I've ever had.
