Nova is the best team in the BigEast until they get beat regularly by someone. Xavier is 0-5 against Nova since joining the conference.

Kind of reminds me of the Dayton fans sticking out their chest, announcing an impending beat-down prior to their game with you guys. I believe you guys refer to them as your "little brothers." Hmmm... Be careful what you wish for; your BE big brother is waiting.

Help me with something DudeA, who is the only team X hasn't beaten yet in the nBE? Maybe they should start with just squeaking out a win before thinking about "wiping the floor," of a team they haven't beaten yet.

Also not sure if you've noticed but Nova is winning its games by an average of 24+ pts / game, and have yet to hit their stride.

Who has Nova played thus far? They seem to be heavy on cupcakes this year. And Nova has earned their reputation in the NBE. I just think Xavier might be much better than last year whereas Nova might be worse.

Dude:

Let's put the bottle down. It was a great Thanksgiving and a great tournament. Let's show that we can compete with Nova before we get carried away.

This thread is hilarious. Some posters are starting to get real chesty!

1- Villanova
2- Xavier
3- Butler
4- Providence
5- Georgetown
6- Creighton
7- Seton Hall
8- Marquette
9- DePaul
10- St. John's

Starting to think six teams make it. Top five listed and 1 of Seton Hall/Creighton. Still early, we'll see how the season plays out

Thank you.

And also thanks to xufan02.

We haven't beaten Nova yet since joining this conference.

Making statements or predictions like this is simply going over the top.

On that note, Nova and Xavier are headed towards a wonderful collision. Good for them, and great for the Big East.

There's a big jump in class between the teams x had played and nova, nova in my eyes is a top 5 team in the nation, and while we are playing very very well, nova is pure class. This all being said I think x can play with them now and I can't wait to see it happen.

Don't get us Nova fans wrong... We all want Xavier to be great!!! Just don't be making comments like that. Nova is crushing teams too and haven't played great yet.

First off Thanks Westbrook for the Love voting us 1b. Very nice. XUDude please check yourself. Statements like "Georgetown the only BE not pulling their weight" and "X wiping the floor against Nova" just aren't cool. The GT games will be battles, as per usual, and obviously our 0-5 Nova record with only one of those games under ten points speaks for itself. Let's stay positive here while enjoying the Muskies early season success.
