Interesting- Nolan just with an update- putting BE up to #2. I'd kind of think if PC beats MSU that we'd be up to #1.

I think the most annoying thing about Stever's posts is when he refers to the Big East as "we". Talk about self-loathing!!

Honestly, only team not pulling their weight so far is Georgetown.

And G'town is only 8 points away from being a top 5 team in the country.

That Dayton thrashing must have him on suicide watch.

He's not a Dayton fan. He's been doing this shtick from before the old Big East broke up.

He's definitely not a UD fan.

He claims to be a Georgetown fan.

Our fellow Hoya fans here seem to believe that is ludicrous.

What I don't understand about this guy, regardless of which team he cheers for is that he mostly posts information that is SLANTED (at best) against the Big East, while purporting to be a Big East fan. It got so bad with him last year that, as one example, I had to keep checking to see if we had indeed expanded the conference by adding Tulsa.

The baseline question is this: why would someone spend their time like this? Imagine arriving at a place where your purpose in life is to pretend to be something on a sports message board, while actually being something else.

It's not just that, but also that he has by far the most posts here and he has to have his posts approved by the admin! Imagine if he had free reign to post? He also has over 5k posts on that other board. It's just sad really.

Not pulling their weight?

Besides one double OT loss to Radford the first game of the season, What are you talking about?

First things first. It's great for the league to win all your team's games. But, don't confuse your schedule with Georgetown's. You have feasted on a bunch of lower level Football 5 teams. The only decent team you faced was Michigan. Hats off, you beat who's in front of you, but lets not get carried away just yet.

Big East is #2 in conference ranking (Sagarin), because 1/2 of the league is in the Top 30.

5 - Nova, 19 Butler, 22 Xavier, 25 Georgetown, and 29 Providence

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaab/sa ... onference/

------------------

The three years of the nBE aren't any different from an aggregate perspective as the last three years of the oBE. In fact, last year was the best mark of the five years and this year may surpass that. Obviously, you are elite if you are finishing Top 2 ---- and that is trending that way.
