I don't like the flyers and will not often root for them, but why are we taking shots at them and the entire city on this tread? It's time to stop being consumed with the flyers people!!! They are an above average team in an above average league, we are a good team (trying to be humble) in a great league. We should be thankful for what we have going for us, without having to build us up by putting them down.
Let's just take care of business today and get the W.

Completely agree.
X should win on paper and I believe is truly the better team, but Dayton has enough talent, is very well coached, and has the biggest fan contingent in Orlando.
Nice opportunity for another solid Big East win, but far from given.

Please beat them or they will start flooding this site...
Long story short with Dayton fans. Unfortunately its considered a "dead" city economically. The only thing going for the city is the University. You are going to get a tremendous amount of fans that are uneducated, that are Dayton natives that have lived there their whole lives, and a substantially large blue collar community make up the majority of their fan base. John Chaney has called going their "going to the sticks". Its been said of Dayton grads "Nobody stays in Dayton" because the jobs are just not there. And that's factually true.
Dayton Basketball is the end all be all in that city essentially because there is nothing else. Thats why you get the huge followings to these tournaments, or any other game for that matter.
AND THE THING IS, YOU WOULD WANT TO ROOT FOR A TEAM LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!. Small town, blue collar, but the fans are the largest grouping of delusional, ignorant douchebags you can possibly imagine. A psychologist would have a field day with this group. I thought we were finally rid of them when we received the privilege of joining our current conference.
Someone that does not have the mental capacity or the willingness to see a situation/argument from multiple perspectives/angles i.e. "transference of perspective" is the definition of ignorant to me. Also known as a Dayton fan.

They do the pack line defense like Mack but they put much more emphasis on getting touched and deflections a la VCU. Their offense seems very fluid and they are very athletic.
X will need their best to win this one.
