I really don't get the Wisconsin love. I know Bo has a history of over-performing with teams that aren't supposed to be that good, but let 'em prove it in the first few games before giving them the benefit of the doubt.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Belmont ranked 35 in the AP as well. That will end up being more of a missed opportunity for marquette then a bad loss come march. Unfortunately, the Marquette non-con schedule doesn't leave a lot of room for missed opportunities this year. And at this point in the year the polls are as much about name-recognition as anything so theirs always a few name schools that are over rated. Marquette was even ranked at the beginning of 2013-14 when they ended 17-15.

So weird, Villanova is ranked? Nah, I am just kidding. It is early but hoping to see more Big East teams in the Top 25 soon. Butler looks legit, still trying to figure out the rest of the conference.

WEEK 3:
AP:
8. Villanova
23. Xavier
30. Butler
37. Providence
38. Georgetown
--Seems reasonable.

Coaches:
9. Villanova
28. Butler
29. Xavier
40. Georgetown (tie with Colorado State)
--This one is very screwed up this week. Don't know how you can have Butler ahead of Xavier. Providence didn't receive any votes. Somehow, Northern Iowa only got 3 votes (the same amount as...New Mexico...?). UNI got 23 votes in the AP.

real tight voting in the 15-18 range...
15 West Virginia 299
16 Oregon 291
17 Cincy 282
18 Xavier 280

frankly I'm shocked that Syracuse didn't get higher than 19.

Xavier was unranked in the last coaches poll, I would expect the AP poll to have Xavier higher
