Oh and Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America and Dallas is the 4th biggest TV market in the US, so lets not act like it's a bunch of small market teams here. Both leagues will have great numbers because it's the playoffs. But Stever has to see the negative in everything even though Toronto has the AL MVP and Cy Young winner on their team.

You keep putting #'s next to cities like "ah see Fox is fucked!!!" but fail to mention that Fox has two top ten US markets and once again the fourth largest city on the continent representing the entire nation of canada. yeah, who is going to tune in to watch them?! Toronto doesn't help Fox at all because Canada has a separate Canadian broadcaster for MLB- it's not Fox. So being the 4th largest city is pretty much meaningless for Fox(any Canada team is the same thing).

Also- You are BEYOND help if you really think there's no difference between the AL group and the NL group. The NL group(especially with the Cubs)- is like the #1 possible group(with the #1 possible matchups). Turner struck it rich.

Toronto/Texas is the 330pm game. The prime time game is Houston/Kansas City.

Given that Texas is #5 market, wouldn't they have wanted that one on in prime time? No, because Toronto doesn't help US TV ratings.

Big Fox success doesn't automatically get transferred down to FS1. A lot of folks would change from Fox to ESPN for postgame coverage if that is who that person likes to watch. It's not like FS1 gets exclusive rights to the post game press conferences or anything like that.
