And now I have officially given up on FS1 for pretty much anything other than live event coverage. People wanted to get away from the clown show that is ESPN with guys like Skip Bayless/Stephen A./Etc and FS1 goes out and gets guys like Clay Travis/Colin Cowherd/Etc and does the exact same thing.

The proof for FS1 though is in the ratings. Skip/Stephen A. show got their best ratings EVER in August. Folks just did not watch what was on. some of the stuff that was on was pretty good- but just folks didn't watch.

I see your point. I do like Clay Travis and Colin Cowherd.

APG wasn't getting the numbers. I didn't like the timeslot. Too early in the day. It should be at 7pm Et/6pm CT. FS1 needs to try something to get viewers.

Maybe at 6pm et FS1 should air a Fox Sports Live. I've thought all along it's pretty dumb for FS1 to not have a 6pm FSL type of show.

I assumed APG was that FSL type show. I do agree, they need something live that airs late afternoon/early evening. Showing taped stuff and Nascar Race Hub blows.

interesting. watching the FS1 game today with WVU/Oklahoma- and Dave Fleming is calling. He used to be at ESPN. Pretty darn good pbp guy- one of the better ones IMO. hopefully he'll do some BE games this winter as I think he'd be good on basketball.

It was Joe Davis calling the game with Brady Quinn, not Dave Fleming. Joe Davis did many Big East games last year.

Dave Fleming is still at the World Wide Leader doing Friday night games with Mack Brown.
