I just hope that means they'll try beating Xavier and Butler this year with 4 players while the Big East teams play with 5. Only seems right since they're better on average with less people.

Remember the big east has couple transfers, namely Eric Paschall for nova, Marcus Foster for Creighton, and Andrew Rowsey for Marquette, that will be instant impact guys. The big east is doing fine talent wise.

I think they'll have a hard enough time trying to beat Xavier or Butler as it is.

Let's try this agan:

Has the AAC surpassed the mighty Big East??

#16 Spellman (Villanova)
#71 Brunk (Butler)
#84 Hauser (Marquette)
#91 Jones (Xavier)
#94 Goodin (Xavier)
Avg: 71.2

#28 Alterique Gilbert (Connecticut)
#38 Juwan Durhman (Connecticut)
#65 Jarron Cumberland (Cincinnati)
#88 Troy Baxter (South Florida)
#90 Mamadou Diarra (Connecticut)
Avg: 61.80

I guess I was on to something! Let's go AAC, we got this!

with the way things are going- check back pretty much this time next year. With late commits, along with commits that reclassify- it's still really early.

Also if lets say Ollie leaves for NBA end of the year- UConn might not get any of their 3.

Georgetown has a pretty young roster this year. They have the 5 kids entering their sophomore year (Copeland, White, Peak, Campbell and Mourning). They have 3 freshmen coming in this year plus a transfer from Louisville. The only real need they had for 2016 was to add another guard. They picked up a commitment from Jagan Mosely (3 stars). It's now up to JT3 to get this young squad to play well together.

I don't think you are going to get many arguments that UCONN is not a quality program. The list you provide displays the problem with the AAC. Outside of the Huskies that league is so pedestrian. If you look at the BE recruiting classes over the past few years several teams can be found with top 25 classes. The AAC is pretty much UCONN, a few decent teams and then complete dreck in the bottom third.

It's very nice that y'all are content to play WCC to UConn's Gonzaga.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
