All players get "Duquesne" and then the starters each get one of the other 5 words, depending on order of importance.

I don't know what the big deal about Duquesne's full name. Do you guys think the same thing about The University of Notre Dame du Lac

No more FCS schools, one "intersectional" game against P5 schools, 9 conference games, and a conference championship game. BYU and Notre Dame count as "P5" opponents. That would mean that the B1G Champion would have, at bare minimum 10 P5 games per season (most likely 11), compared to the Big 12's of 9.
Not only does this further push the B1G further away from the Big 12, but also the G5 as well. This is one fewer game that the G5 can schedule against one of the P5 conferences, and, thus, prove that they belong in club.
The PAC-12 probably won't be that far behind.
The distance between the autonomous five and the rest just got longer.

Damn. Major league distancing move by the B1G. This will hurt the G5 as you noted, but it will particularly hurt the MAC.
Overall, think of the lost revenue to these G5 programs. No more chances to be bought for a game or two.
