Semaj is putting up great numbers so hopefully he gets a shot to get some NBA minutes. That being said, a lot of our alumni are doing very well overseas.

Not usually a big NBA guy (I do love my Bulls) but that's some serious cash for 5 players and like 90% of that is from four of them.

A little misleading...
Top 20 Big East Alums according to salary per ESPN:
Monroe (GU) - 17.1M
Butler (MU) - 16.4 M
Hibbert (GU) - 15.6 M
Hayward (BU) - 15.4 M
Wade (MU) - 15 M
Lowry (VU) - 12 M
*West (XU) - 12 M (his true value; the fact that he walked away from is contract to try to win, should not be held against him)
Green (GU) - 9.4 M
Matthews (MU) - 7.3 M
Chandler (DU) - 6.8 M
Koerver (CU) - 5.7 M
Porter (GU) - 4.7 M
Dalembert (SHU) - 4.1 M
Novak (MU) - 3.8 M
Foye (VU) - 3.2 M
Tolliver (CU) - 3 M
Harkless (SJU) - 2.9 M
Cunningham (VU) - 2.9 M
McBuckets (CU) - 2.4 M
Mack (BU) - 2.4 M
Only team not represented in Top 20, interestingly is Providence. With Ryan Gomes not being picked up yet and Bryce still working on a rookie contract, they missed the list.
But to represent that the Marq players together make more than the rest of the BE combined is a BIG stretch. I don't think the Marq players make as much as the G'town alums by themselves let alone the entire BE.
GumbyDamnit! wrote:Ok. Whatever. Just saying that your original statement that suggested that the Marq alums make more than the rest of the BE alums combined is not accurate. But good for those guys. They'll make more in a year that most of us will make in a lifetime.
