Really? I've never met any other fellow BU fans who would pick Creighton as our biggest conference rival. Xavier is the clear front-runner followed by Marquette.

Out of conference - if we can resign a deal with Cal - that has the makings of a good rivalry. We have signed ASU (and have played twice recently in exempt tourneys) to a H&H - it has the makings of a rivalry. Hopefully we continue the series with Oklahoma, and then there is Always Fresno St.

What are you smoking gtmo? I cannot think of a single Jays fan who would answer the question "Who does your fan base hate the most . . . out of conference?" by answering Cal, ASU, or Oklahoma. None. Why the heck would Jays fans have a hatred for Cal or ASU? And we haven't played Oklahoma regularly and beat them on our home floor last year.i
If you poll a thousand Jays fans, at least 997 of them will say that our fan base hates Nebraska the most out of conference. It's a function of having to deal with the ridiculous and unwarranted media lovefest for all things Corn in the state of Nebraska, the delusion of the Husker fanbase, etc. In baseball we've struggled against the Huskers. There is a history between the women's basketball programs and a growing rivalry between the volleyball programs. And even in men's basketball, where we've had the upper hand, there is a heated dislike between the fan base. This is not even a close call.

I will say the Butler-Xavier rivalry has certainly changed since the Sean Miller days. I would say that was the peak of the hatred between the two schools. I think there is a little more mutual respect now, but that isn't really saying much because it was essentially non-existent in the past.
Out of conference, we don't like IU. Really no "hatred" for anyone else. You could say there's a little hostility with some of the other in-state schools, but there isn't really much there.
I, too, don't get the Creighton hatred, but I guess we are all different. Though, I could see a rivalry developing with them or Marquette due to geography. I could also see something possibly develop with St. John's. This past year's game at Hinkle was pretty chippy.
