I'm sorry if I'm realistic. Xavier and Cincy were the same team for gosh sakes. The Xavier/Cincy game and where they got seeded basically proved it. Xavier won and was the 24 seed. Cincy lost and was the 29 seed. It's idiotic to say that Xavier was above average and Cincy was average. Xavier fans can bitch and moan saying they were so much better than Cincy- but that's just not the case at all. Any one who is objective in the least can see it. Yes Xavier got further in the tourney- but that's because they didn't have to see Kentucky in rd 2. But that's the benefit of winning the head to head game. So Xavier was slightly above Cincy. A team in that gets #29 seed to me isn't average. And with them getting most everything back, they won't be average next year.

And for gosh sakes, teams like Cincy aren't the enemy. It's the P5 that should be the enemy.

I'm sorry but no one with a half a clue thinks a top 30 team is just average. Only a fan of a rival of that team would think that. Xavier wasn't average and neither was Cincy.

that's fine- but what does that prove? That Xavier was slightly better than Cincy last year. It doesn't prove that Xavier was above average and Cincy was average. It was a good game with 2 good teams. It's stupid to call a top 30 team average. You know they were #29. Who was #29 last year? Kentucky. I sure don't think they were average.

UC was average this past season. XU beat them and went to the Sweet 16. Get over it.

Neither Cincy or Xavier were average this season. You are clueless if you think a top 30 team is average. Absolutely clueless.

Cincy was actually a 8 seed.....

To me, average is more teams like your 11 seed and lower. Like previous year- teams like Texas, Dayton, BYU, Ole Miss, etc. Heck maybe even put the 10s in there- your Ohio St, Davidson, Indiana's there.

UC was indeed average this past season. It was a weak field but UC was nothing more than an average team last season, sorry.
