Hockey Friars Advance To National Final...!

The Friars beat Omaha 4-1 tonight in Boston.
They really dominated play, outshooting UNO like 40 to 20.
Clean game, few penalties.

Omaha's goalie Massa is fantastic. John Gillies was again outstanding in net for PC.
The Friars play the winner of tonight's Boston University vs North Dakota.

not sure who id prefer they face. BU would be nice for hockey east but ND might get more crowd support

It is truly a shame we do not have hockey as a conference sport. I know about the difficulties however we can still dream. Good Luck to the Friars, win it all.

Congrats on the big win from an Omaha Jays fan. It was fun to have Univ of Omaha team to the final four, but hurts less when the BIg East wins! Go Friars in the finals.
