The A10 absolutely gets more exposure.
Let's compare Wichita and VCU on TV for conference games
Wichita
1 ESPN
3 ESPN2
3 ESPNU
9 Cox Kansas
1 FSKC
1 ESPN 3
VCU
6 ESPN2
1 ESPNU
8 CBSSN
2 NBCSN
1 MASN
So same number of ESPN games- but then instead of 10 games on Cox local or FSKC, they get 10 games on CBSSN/NBCSN.
I think also they look at themselves vs VCU and the fact they were the same seed even though Wichita had a much better record.
Hoyas wrote:I think similarly you could say the same thing about the MVC- no other team would get close to what Wichita got. Northern Iowa had 1 ESPN, 1 ESPN2, and 3 ESPNU.
Dayton on the A10 side
2 ESPN2
2 ESPNU
5 CBSSN
4 NBCSN
So 13/18 conference games available pretty much nationally.

you shorted the pot
regular season Dayton
3-ESPN2
3-ESPNU
2-ESPN family (Puerto Rico - last 2 games listed this way, ESPN does that to ensure best mathups get appropriately slotted)
7-CBS sports network
4-NBC " "
3-Fox Sports Ohio
A10 tourney - quarter & semis on CBS sports network & with final on CBS Sunday afternoon.
