Better them than help out the B10 in any way shape or form.

You guys know we have the Gavitt Tipoff challenge with the B10 right?

I can't wait until those games are announced. It's going to be Mullins debut, I hope they are smart enough to let us host. Hopefully a name but a beatable team like Purdue or Iowa. Don't want a scrub though like NW or Ped State.

Hopefully at MSG with a name opponent although it kinda depends what the roster looks like.

it won't be the actual debut, with the games being the Tuesday-Friday after the season has started, teams will have at least 1 if not 2 warm-ups prior to the Gavitt games.

My hunch is the 2 teams that will be left out will be Creighton and Seton Hall.

You wouldn't want it to be the first game any ways. A lot of times, the biggest improvement a team makes is between games 1 and 2.

I know, just thinking of how loud the Garden would be for Mullins first game as coach against a power conference team.

LMAO!! Even we've made a Sweet 16 more recently then you!! You lost to the 5th place AAC team as a #2 seed and lost to the 7th place ACC team this year as a #1 seed (we beat them by 16 at their house BTW).

Really? Basing a team's quality on one game tells you absolutely nothing.
Villanova won a better conference than NC State's or Cincy's. They had more quality wins than NC State or Cincy. They are rated higher in the RPI, KenPom, and Sagarin ratings than NC State or Cincy. I could keep going, but what is the point?

Do we even know if those Villanova games took place? If no one watched, did it happen? The last two times I saw Villanova play they were getting taken out in the second round by much lower seeds.
