Why wouldn't Butler call up Ohio State and try to work out a deal? No need for Big East teams to go dumpster diving in the Conference of Americans.

Cincinnati is going to be really good next year- a likely preseason top 25 team for sure, maybe even higher. They may even be better than Ohio St if we want to be honest. They return their top 10 players, and their coach.

That may be so, but I associate Big East- excepting Seton Hall- with top flight private institutions, with student athletes who are credits to their campuses and conference, like Darrun Hilliard and Kris Dunn. When I think of Conference Americans, I think of four year community colleges and directional cut-rate degree mills, with players trucked in from jucos and reform schools. I just think Butler should aim a little higher.

Wow Conference of Americans? Who are you, the Ball?

Like Hoyas said, Cincy returns almost everyone. Why wouldn't Butler schedule them?

Because if Ohio State can't pay you $300k to come lose at the Schott by 30 then they have no interest in playing you out of conference

So I guess all the problems at St John's means no teams should schedule them either? Get real.

Also if we don't play them, someone else will and get the SOS help.

Better them than help out the B10 in any way shape or form.

What problems? We're graduating a bunch of kids this year. None of which have been arrested or any issues. (Harrison had some anger issues but got help after Sophomore year.)
