If DePaul gets Bobby Hurley or Bryce Drew that is a W IMHO. St. John's should also consider Danny Hurley if Bobby were to go to DePaul. 2 Hurleys coaching in The Big East would be good for headlines and Danny is arguably the better coach. He also has STRONG NYC/NJ ties. Can't beat NYC/NJ for recruiting.

not necessarily- look at last paragraph......
Sources told ESPN's Jeff Goodman that while Hurley and Buffalo have reportedly reached an agreement on a new contract, the door has not been closed on other coaching opportunities as of yet.

Contract extensions don't mean a thing, it's just Buffalo rightfully trying to do everything it can to keep him. And of course he's going to agree to it.

Matta & Miller both agreed to or signed one with X immediately before leaving.

exactly. Now if he cancels the interview with DePaul, then I'll believe it. Until then, it's pretty much meaningless.

New article at the same url tells a different story:

"Despite reports to the contrary, Bobby Hurley has not reached an agreement to remain the coach of the Buffalo Bulls, a source told ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman on Wednesday.

A source had told ESPN on Tuesday that Hurley, whose team lost to West Virginia in the round of 64, was expected to interview at DePaul this weekend for the job vacated by Oliver Purnell, who was 54-105 in five seasons."
