The AAC have the reigning National Champions in both Men's and Women's basketball.

They will probably have the Women's National Champions again.

That trumps everything by a mile.

UCONN-SMU was the featured game on Selection Sunday. The ratings for that game dwarfed the NBE title game.

But your title game was played in Hartford, ours was in New York City at MSG. Oh and reigning national champion UConn's opening round game was played on their home floor in front of under 6,000 fans. And while the Big East added Xavier, Creighton and Butler (all three teams making an NCAA tourny appearance already as Big East members), the AAC added Tulsa, UCF, East Carolina and Tulane. The AAC is soooo good that a sizable number of UConn fans are calling to leave the AAC and move to...wait for it...the Big East. The Big East may only have 1 of 6 left in the tourny, but the ACC has 0-2. That's the real elephant in the room.
