I'm not sure why JT3 should be fired for losing to a team ranked higher in the national polls Utah is #19 versus Georgetown #22

I'm not that schocked about any loss in the tournament, most teams in are very good. Losing Nova really hurts. They were by far our best team and I thought the worst they would do was E8. Congrats to Nova on a great year! Stuff happens in the tournament.

Looks like Dunham is still in the locker room.

Dawgs showing a lot of life before the end of the half. Irish can't stop Jones.

Haven't seen a Sweet 16 in 8 years, despite 6 additional NCAA appearances. Expectations are huge for this program and every year is a disappointment. Tired of seeing them lose under the bright lights and the alumni base is starting to sound like Cubs fans waiting for the ship to turn. I listened to JT3 grovel at an alumni event in Chicago (Sidley Austin law firm hosted it). Only improvement is not losing to Ohio or FGCU this time around. I'd like to see if someone else can get Georgetown over the hump.

JT3's job is about as safe as they come. The best recruits from the 2011 class (Porter,Whittington and Adams) are gone for various reasons. The 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes were awful (except for DSR). So this year, the Hoyas were going to rely on DSR, some good Freshmen (2014) and a 350 pound transfer that can play 18-20 minutes a game. This is about as far as this squad was going to go. They have some good players coming in next year. Hopefully they will be able to go a round or two deeper.

Yeah, that's a joke. I want to say Utah was favored in the game even. There's been other years where JT3 should have been fired, this isn't one of them.

Meanwhile, Rosevelt Jones is putting on a show. If Butler makes the Sweet 16 can everybody get off the ledge?

The Bulldogs open up 6 point lead and Barlow gets called for 2 straight awful foul calls.

Like most other basketball fans, passion trumps reason, especially after a stinging defeat. Just losing patience.
