Terrible job by Nova tonight. My apologies from Nova Nation to the rest of the BE.

Embarrassing, no other way to say it. Oh well, at least Jay still dresses well that's all that matters.

That's why single elimination tournaments aren't the best way of deciding the "best team in the country." Sure they're exciting for fans and easier to manage than anything else, but they don't really determine who the "best team" is. If it were possible, I'd love to see a double elimination tournament, but it's just not.

I hope this tournament never dies. Greatest 4 day weekend in sports. You are spot on about "fairness" but I really couldn't care less.

Completely agree.
It's better than the BCS or College Football Playoff in any form, MLB Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, etc. Definitely more exciting than any playoff except maybe the NFL Playoffs, but determines the "best team" it does not. And that's fine. We as fans just have to recognize that and not buy into the on-coming junk that we're going to get from stever and the other countless trolls.

Let's hope BU can win, otherwise this would be ammunition for a bad national narrative. Only the B12 continuing to fail can help deflect the attention.

Dude that ship has sailed. Unless butler or X makes final 4 it will redeem us but the stories all week will be about what a bust the BE was and how we're weak like our critics said the last 2 years. And unfortunately we've proven them right. It's gonna be a feeding frenzy.

curious to see how JT3 explains this loss and why he should still remain coach of the Georgetown University Men's Basketball team.

Same could be said about the Big 12. Do yourself a favor and step back from the ledge.
