Playing the game in Columbus had nothing to do with the outcome.
If the committee failed to seed properly and put Dayton in a PIG that they didn't deserve, how did that hurt Dayton. If anything it helped Providence by forcing Dayton to play an extra game.

According to the official NCAA stats, Dayton is 14th in FT attempts, Providence is 41st. With all due respect to Ken Pom, there is something wrong with what he's reporting.
