I suspect it will be a younger coach, in the mold of Bryce Drew, Bobby Hurley, maybe Brian Wardle (no NCAA appearance hurts him)

If true, it just shows how disassociated JLP and DePaul Athletics are from Men's Basketball. To go from Wainwright to Purnell to (possibly) Robinson would be yet another failure on the administration's fault to create interest and support for the program.
DePaul obviously won't be getting a top, proven, head coach, but they can definitely go young (whether that's a current head coach at mid-major level, or a high-level assistant). They don't need yet another mediocre, older, head coach who has already peaked.
Bryce Drew, Brian Wardle, Steve Masiello, or, my personal choice, John Gianni, would all be terrific hires.
