I don't like focusing on that one call. Everyone knows it was questionable, but it was a fantastic game. ESPN is probably trying to de-legitimize Villanova's win and a perfectly played game by both teams. VU led the entire game and earned a great win. They definitely don't need to apologize.

This might be a preview of next year's Championship Game. Both teams should be better despite the graduations of Josh Smith, Stainbrook, Trawick, Dee Davis, Hopkins, and Bowen.

Xavier got a huge lift off the bench from freshman JP Macura who scored 8 points and then went down with an ankle injury. He's probably done.

Should be an exciting second half.

Macura probably will also miss games in the NCAA Tournament. Both big men are similar, and using their big bodies on one another. I know it's supposedly tough to beat a team 3 times in a season, blah, blah, blah, blah. I also believe this isn't a good matchup for Georgetown. I think it'll be a good, second half, but I see your squad winning this one.

Much props to PC. Every time we went up 10 or 12 you had an answer. I think this game will serve both teams well in the tourney. If PC is a 6 seed, that 3 seed is going to have all it can handle. Tough, tough, tough.

I think 2 things. First off I hate the logic that says let it be won in the trenches and not at the foul line. If it's a foul, it's a foul.

But 2nd- I think it just shows why Archy was a player of the league. He did a great job drawing that foul. Heady play.

Wow. X starting to pour it on. If Georgetown wants to get back in it, DSR has to find a way to score.

You do understand that all recaps are done via the AP wire report don't you? Maybe plenty of things to blame on ESPN, but that is not one of them...

The game isn't over and it can change fast, but the start of the 2nd half immediately brings this to mind.

With the exception of Smith getting off to a good start (before the inevitable foul trouble), all three games have been exactly the same.
