Great game! Would have loved to see PC win of course. However may eb best for BE that the results are what they are. Villanova continues to prove why it should have number 1 seed and PC shows why the BE is one of the best

There were plenty of bad calls (again), but Providence missed FTs that could have tipped the scales.
As a Big East fan, I really enjoyed this game. Can't wait to see Providence wreck brackets in a week.

What are you talking about? Providence shot 71% from the line. That's a good night of FT shooting. They only got 17 FT opportunities, so it's not like they had a ton of chances.

I know friar fans will be pissed, but in fairness, hart was fouled on that inbounds play. So, it shouldn't haven't have been tied. Great game, though. Hope Dunn comes back and we can do it again next year.

Just watched it again. Wow, what a terrible, terrible call. Not even debatable. The refs blew that and stole the game from PC.

PC Fans,

That was an obvious no call, nobody likes to win like that, not even the winning team, but obviously I'll take it. I was at MSG yesterday and I was rooting for St. John's because I knew PC would be the much tougher opponent. Obviously I was right. I really like your squad and I think you guys should be very excited about the future with Cooley as your coach. He is all class and a hell of a coach. I am hoping Dunn will stick around for you guys next year but if he goes league that will only help with recruiting. Anyway, Providence is a Sweet 16 team. Best of luck in the dance.
