They only have to beat them one time. ;)

I'll go with Nova over Friars and GT over X, but that one will be a tough on if X plays like they did last night. I think Nova needs to go all the way to get the #1. Seems like they are looking for a way to bump them down to the 2. (ESPN commentators would tell ya they they aren't a 1 even if they do win the BE! :? )

TV commentators are not on the selection committee, and they only want Nova off the one line because they want the Wisconsin/Kentucky game in the Final Four rather than the Elite Eight. Ignore them. If Nova wins the trophy tomorrow night, they're a one seed- the only question is where.

I agree, just explaining why they might need to win to get the 1. Should have enough to just reach the finals this year to get the 1.

My fears were unfounded against SJU, the "good" PC team showed up. Namely Dunn and Henton brought their A games and Bentil and Harris contributed meaningful minutes. If we get the top 2 on their games and we get 1 or 2 role players to step up we're a very tough out. It's when anyone in that combo is off we struggle.

I hope tonight to keep it competitive with Nova. If we are within striking distance in the last 10 minutes I'm happy. Just don't want to get blown out. I do think Nova is unbelievable but they are beatable.

Also hope the Georgetown X game is a barn burner. Hope to see close games and lots of energy tonight.
Let's Go FRIARS!

Really hopping for a close possibly multiple Overtime game for Nova and Providence.

I have a Gala to go to from 7:30-11:30 but I'll be ducking out by 9:30/10.

Very good showing by the power teams in the conference, 3 of the top 4 made the semi's. If Villanova and Georgetown make the finals, it will boost TV ratings and show the BE in its' best light.
The 6 projected lock tourney teams are safely in. Now they need to perform well on the Big Stage of the NCAA's.

What else can you do? Nova's just on a tear right now.
