Cracker Barrel had a 2 for 1 on country fried steak if you showed a ticket stub. Beats Midtown right?

How is that AAC tournament going. I see it's theme night there at the XL Center. Halloween I think. 16,000 fans dressed up as empty seats.

Pretty pathetic for the defending national champs with 20,000 students in their own backyard.

Wow, that's 700 fans more than the Horizon League final in Valparaiso, Indiana. I realize that's a final, but it was between two teams with a combined enrollment of 11,300 in the "city" of Valparaiso, population 32,000. That's bad.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

If you are UConn looking at that picture how are you not saying, "How the hell did we get here?"

Villanova football will beat UConn football in September. It will then become evident to UConn fans that they let their amazing basketball product turn to shit in support of a subpar football program. They will hopefully have enough sense to join the CAA for football, which although it is a FCS league, it is a stronger conference than the AAC, and they will then move their basketball to the Big East.

The ACC is not going to be knocking on their door anytime soon.

BEARCAT BOUNCE,
I have an undergrad degree from XU and a Masters from UC so I have a tendency to support X in basketball and UC in football. However I watch UC on TV whenever X is not on. How can any self respecting UC grad or student possibly defend the AAC tournament and compare it to the Big East tournament? True the AAC has some good bb teams but apparently their fans have resigned for the year. BOUNCE if you are honest you MUST be ashamed of the pathetic support the schools fans are giving their teams at this travesty of a tournament. None the less I wish the Bearcats well in their game tonight, but their fans will forever rue their becoming a member of the AAC. There is no excuse for what is happening and I believe you know it. Just think back to UC appearing in the old BE tournament and the difference between that and this farce in New England.
