That was 3 of Lunardi's first 8 teams gone. great news for Iona and Murray St. I know Lunardi put Richmond as his 8th team out to replace Illinois, so their game with VCU tomorrow could get them closer. Also great news for Tulsa who saw 2 teams vanish for them- and UCLA has to play a USC team today that doesn't help them at all(and would kill them if they lost).

Still hoping for Tulsa, Steve?

All 4 probably fatal losses for those teams. I think they were already ahead of Iona and Murray St. So really of the 8 teams that were the 1st 8 teams out- only Tulsa and UCLA remain(and UCLA didn't get a break in having to play USC today). They just need a break or two tomorrow and they have a very good chance to make the tourney. (might be getting one in SEC- Ole Miss losing to South Carolina at halftime).

Tweet of the day was from Jeff Goodman-
Indiana with a huge win over Northwestern. Never quite thought I'd type those words.
