Meanwhile, we'll still be partying on broadway...

Can't wait for Stever to act like the sky is falling over this.

Nothing beats the Saturday postgame experience in metro-Greensboro... the fun of searching for your car in a 1500-acre parking lot at 11pm in 40-degree damp weather... and driving that car to the local Stuckey's... but Stuckey's has a 90-minute wait for a table because other ACC fans beat you to the restaurant... so you pick up McDonald's and drive back to your Motel-6 near the interchange and sit in your hotel room and watch highlights on TV.

Pitt, Syracuse, Louisville and Notre Dame fans are still trying to adjust to the culture shock.

Guys, what the 10 of us Big East teams have as a conference is absolutely amazing. Nothing beats MSG and midtown Manhattan. The buzz, the crowds, the city, the whole experience. Even on TV the atmosphere is incredible. Our Creighton-DePaul 7-vs-10 game last night was great to watch.

If the ACC wants to keep their tournament in North Carolina they need to move it to Charlotte. One of the biggest probablems with the Greensboro Colliseum isn't isn't walking distance from anything. No hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. You have to get in your car to go to there and get back in your car to leave. This was fine when most games were held during the day and people would day trip from across the state for the games and return home in the evening. Greensboro is a nice town but in the grand scheme of things, it is a town and not a city. With the influx of teams from up and down the east coast, Greensboro just isn't a viable option. It was fine for an 8 team fan base but not 12-15 teams. Not enough hotels, restaurants, or things to do.

Compared to big Northeast cities, Charlotte isn't "big" but it is much more of a real city and it has a nice downtown area (where the Hornets play). There are plenty of hotels, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance or light rail. Seems like a no-brainer to me, I don't know why the ACC sticks with Greensboro other than tradition and the strong influence from Duke and UNC (both are about an hour away).

Re: Stuckeys - I can't recall the last time I saw a Stuckey's in North Carolina - could you be thinking of Cracker Barrel? People definitely line up for Cracker Barrel. I have to admit, they do have good food!

I wish the Big East played on a channel I actually have. Any thoughts to moving the title game to main channel fox in the future?

Maybe get rid of your bunny ears, then you will have Fox Sports 1.

Watching all of this is like watching Potter on 'It's a Wonderful Life, trying to kill off the savings and loan.

Next thing you know ESPN will wheel themselves to the table and try to buy Ackerman, just like in the movie. As long as we don't accidentally hand them our TV contract wrapped in a newspaper we should come out on top in all of this; we are at MSG and bring the fans, while they aren't, and don't. Simple.

Butler's mascot puked on the court before the game with Xavier tonight, seconding the thoughts of the nation on the "new" Big East.

How is that AAC tournament going. I see it's theme night there at the XL Center. Halloween I think. 16,000 fans dressed up as empty seats.
