I am very worried about Providence's matchup with St. Johns. They seem to be a major matchup problem for us, blowing us out last year and in our home game this year, and the game we lost at MSG it wasn't that close for most of it save for a late second half run by us that fell short. So we're 2-3 vs SJU in the last 2 seasons (both wins last year). I just don't like the way we're trending and they're trending and the matchup. It's also a home game for them. That said I expect Friar fans to make themselves known and it to be a good game, I just hope we can compete well and not get into a early hole. I worry about our seed should we lose. I still think we slip from 6 to 7 which isn't the worst thing, but want to avoid 8 seed because of the second round matchup against the 1.

Live by the three die by the three. (for the record this year's Friar team has a major problem defending the three, and we can't hit them either, its maddening to watch and will lead to our undoing at some point).

The threes are pretty amazing to watch at this point. Nova has had some issues in the past against the zone. Now it just seems they pass so well and have so many shooters that playing zone against us is suicide unless all 6 of our shooters are off.
