Yes, that was my point.

It sure would be a lot of fun to see one of those teams get hot. 8-)

In a way yeah but the problem with it is that it probably costs Nova a #1 seed. So you have to weigh which one means more to the conference- Nova being a 2 seed and one of the others getting in as a 14 seed, or Nova being a 1 seed. I think I'd take the #1 seed every time.

The top 6 should just let Wednesday's winners go through to the final. Guarantees 7 bids ;-)

What matters most is how much fun I'm having because it's all about ME. So, I'm take the bottom feeder going on a run every time. :D

How great is it that we are talking about how we can get a 7th team in?

No. Creighton is the sole bottom feeder capable of pulling off such an
outlandish tourney run. Of course they've never been in the bottom seed
before (at least not for the last 20 years). They have won as a 4th seed previously
and have a history of stealing conference autobids.

Should the Jays accomplish this task - one of the 6 "locks" will
surprisingly get bumped - X or St Johns. DePaul, G'twn, and Butler are beatable.
Nova or Providence...well that will take some effort.

What makes some of u think that Nova will make the finals? They haven't been there
in a while.

Maybe because we're 16-2 in conference and 29-2 overall, gtmo?

Gotta love him, shows up once every week or two on here and without fail, takes a shot at Nova.

Why do you think Creighton can win a BE title gtmo?, they've NEVER won a regular season or BE tourney title. See two can play than lame ass game.

Providence will take more effort to beat than Georgetown or Butler? Are you trolling? I certainly don't think it will be easy for Marquette/Creighton/Seton Hall/DePaul to beat Providence, but I don't think it will be any harder than beating two teams that finished ahead of Providence. That is particularly true since none of those four teams claim a win this season over Butler or Georgetown.

Taking a shot at Villanova? Me? Nah!

I was merely asking a question, Westbrook, ol' pal. They sported a similarly fine record last season and came up short.

The record shows 1 BET title (1995). Hmmm.

(Villanova 1 1995)

As for the Jays - merely supposition and for entertaining Mr. Marsh's notion. A little fun in the pre-BET lead in days. It will take a gallon of antivenin for my Jays to overcome the effects of all the snakebites they have suffered this season. However, it won't take us 15 years to win our 1st BET, nor 20 years to win our 2nd.

Do you really want to go there again and again and again gtmo? With this new school vs. C7 stuff?

First it starts off with me saying something along the lines of "the BE we came from was a different animal completely, winning the old BE wasn't as easy as winning the Valley". Then you respond with something like "that's completely disrespectful east coast/C7 bias". Next thing you know the thread gets jacked.

gtmo you can talk up Creighton all you want, it's unnecessary to take shots a other teams while doing so. It reaks of insecurity.
