During the five sessions at Madison Square Garden beginning next Wednesday, the average price for Big East Tournament tickets on TiqIQ is $224.98, marking a price jump of 27.3% from last season’s average of $176.74. An All-Session strip for the 2015 Big East Tournament has an average price of $1,367.41.

Do these figures seem a bit high to anyone else?

Yeah. My guess is the secondary market is quite a bit more expensive than the tickets the schools are allotted.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

They were more expensive a few years ago, but it is good to see the increase in demand.

Btw, I heard that St. John's has sold out its ticket allotment. I assume that that is the full tourney packages.

I'd kind of guess part of it is the real possibility that the top 3 seeds are Nova, Georgetown, and St John's. That doesn't hurt at all.

Heading into the season with expectations of a down year for Creighton I was worried about attendance. Now that we've got what looks like 6 solid tourney teams I think it might even be stronger than last year.
