You're absolutely wrong about Harrison's effort on defense. While he is not overly quick, he gives maximum effort. And, when you have time, check out his rebounding numbers. Also, he is not selfish on offense. He is just our primary option.

I don't know how anyone could say that harrison belongs on the first team over smith riveria, hilliard or Dunn. That's absurd.

Harrison scores a lot of points, but he's kind of a ball hog and I would much rather give the ball to gibbs or smith Rivera for the final shot of the game. I don't dislike harrison, but the me-first mentality is not something that I find a positive and he lacks overall defensive hustle. He is all about scoring, and other players are better than him.

That said, I don't know how Garrett Jr is not considered extremely improved. Sure he was decent last yr, but this year he has been special. Pointer and Ochefu would also be good picks along with jalen reynolds.

Many people say Harrison is a ball hog but that mostly comes from people who just see the tats and the fg%. They dont realize that he has been the #1 defensive target from the opposing team in every game hes ever played. Their not usually people who consistently watch the kid play. And I can tell you're not someone who has consistently watched him play, because anyone who has wouldn't say he "lacks overall defensive hustle". That's ridiculous. Ive seen him play every game this year and I have yet to see anyone, on st johns or any other team, out hustle Harrison.

You could say you think hes overrated, you can say you just dont think hes any good, you could say he takes a bad shot here and there, and you could even say he hasnt won a thing in his career. But you cant say hes a kid who doesnt hustle, because thats just not true.

TheBall. STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you utilize the ignore feature on this site again?

Harrison plays his heart out on defense and is the furthest thing from a me first player. It is clear you don't watch St. John's stop pretending. Harrison hogged the ball against nova BECAUSE HE WAS HOT and it is clear you are just going off of that.

Again the ignore feature ?

For those who disagree, rank the guards from the conference.

I have:
1. Dunn
2. Hilliard
3. Smith-Rivera
4. Garret Jr.
5. Gibbs
6. Harrison

You might be able to debate 4 through 6, but the top 3 are pretty set.

Im just not sure what makes Smith rivera a sure fire better than Harrison pick. Dunn is this years POY so far, and I love hilliard, but Smith-rivera is not having a better year than Harrison.

After last night the only honor Dunham should get is for acting. What a little FIFA-soccer wannabe with his flailing and contorting his body to try and draw fouls every time anyone happens to lay a finger on him. Lost all respect for him last night watching that act. it'sad that a great shooter resorts to that frankly.

That said, congrats to Butler for somehow winning the game. I like your school and coach and most of the players.

The second leading scorer in the conference is the 6th best guard? Get that BS out of here. He has a top BBall IQ and draws fouls from defenders 5 or 6 times a game easily. You are talking our your ass here. Oh and he was first team all BE last season and he's having just as good a year (though he hit a rough patch with a calf injury) and you think he's sixth best? Clueless, absolutely clueless. Did you see him completely outplay Garrett Jr. last week when he put up 33 points going 10-14 and 6-8 from the 3 and grabbing 10 DEFENSIVE rebounds? No, of course you didn't. Because would would have seen Garrett score 18 points and 0 rebounds.

So go ahead and rank the guards.

You apparently think harrison is better than garret Jr (I disagree), and probably gibbs (debatable), do you also rank harrison ahead of Dunn, hilliard and smith-rivera?

How is he special?

Conference Stats;
13.8ppg
45.7% FG%
35.4% 3pt%
78% FT%
2.8rpg
4.2apg

Those are not special numbers to me. I would say most improved player on DePaul has been Crockett considering last year to this year.
