St. John's just played a great game against a tough Xavier team on the road. I've been thinking that we'd find out what this St. John's team is made of in these final weeks of the season. The came up with a big answer this afternoon.

I was very skeptical but great game…great win with 2 injured star players getting it done against a well-oiled Xavier team at home with the best offensive big man in the conference. We must now go at least 3-3 to have a shot at tourney. We won the battle, but we haven't won the war yet. Must get to the tourney before we can celebrate.

I say the Big East goes 4-4 in these games.

PC really needs this one. Losing two home games in a row would be bad, especially considering that after this they go on the road to face DePaul and then Villanova. Lose 5 in a row and they suddenly might not be a tournament team.

I disagree. PC would need a lot more than that. As long as PC can beat Marquette and then Seton Hall the 2nd time around(or Butler), they would be definitely safe in my mind.

Good win St John's just simply outplayed X today. Wednesday is going to be very big for Xavier playing @UC. Could be telling how the rest of the year is going to go.
