You should see how the zebras are screwing St. John's. Especially, Jim Burr.

Blaming the refs is weak. It all evens out.

In game frustrations. When I made that post, with over 9 minutes left the Hall had one guy already fouled out and 2 more (Delgado and Whitehead) with 4 each. Then follow that up with Carrington getting clotheslined with no call leading to a 5 on 4 hoop the other way and yeah, it was frustrating.

By no means did I mean to take anything away from Xavier, I thought they played very well. The inconsistency of the calls was just very frustrating.

And whitehead couldn't have come back at a better time. There's no doubt the Hall loses this game without him.

I agree refs missed that one on Carrington I thought they were bad both ways. Stainbrook had a couple "big guy fouls" as Georgetown fans like to say. Seton Hall had some dumb fouls but that happens when you pressure the whole game.

None of that really matters though when you go 1-19 from 3 on the road especially when a few were WIDE open. Not in this league.

Also these 2 teams don't like each other. 6 T's between them today. Should be interesting if they meet again in NY

St John's with huge win to complete sweep of providence. Kris Dunn looked like he was gonna will the friars over the johnnies but Rysheed Jordan locked him down in the final 6 minutes. Huge win

Nice win by SJU but our time has passed. We had the window to win and we lost against the worst teams in the conference. This win only holds off the inevitable. Unless we go on some kind of huge streak beating Nova, Butler, and G'Town I don't see how this team makes the tourney. And even if we are on the bubble and need some BET wins to get an at large bid, we have to be among the worst teams in terms of how deep we go in the BET. I can't remember this team ever making a run in the BET in the last decade. We always seem to lose immediately in it.

Congratulations on the win. Despite the officiating, it was an entertaining game until the last few minutes. The Hall is definitely looking like a tournament team. I hope Whitehead stays healthy.

I agree X's brutal 3pt shooting today was the difference. Really impressive that they still had a chance to win despite that.

And the 6 T's was a sign that the refs had no control over this game. I definitely agree that Stainbrook picked up some cheap fouls; so did Delgado. One possession they'd call a touch foul and the next they'd let a mugging go. It gets frustrating for the players too to not know what the refs are gonna call.

Butler wins in OT. Great time to finally make the free throws!

If you're simply rooting for the Big East to maximize NCAA bids, the results of all 5 games today were probably exactly as desired.
