As far as St John's-
to get even on the bubble remotely right now would take getting to 18-12. Right now that record projects to a RPI of 57.2. That is really fringe bubble. That would be 6-5. To get a lot more solid takes 7-4 to get to 19-11. That record projects to a RPI of 46.1.
Ok, so maybe sub-100 is unrealistic. But they still aren't a "bad loss". Brown has an rpi of 233, that is a bad loss.

Probably no one since Creighton went 9-4 and only had one bad loss out of conference. The problem with DePaul is that they went 5-7 out of conference, and three of those losses were to teams outside of the top 150 RPI.

Exactly. DePaul improved their rpi by beating up on Big East teams. Creighton's rpi is mostly based on beating up nonconference opponent's. Not the same.

DePaul is the guy who brought a 6-pack of cheap beer and then binge-drank the craft beer (In this analogy, Villanova brought a case of craft beer).

That might be the most brilliant analogy I've ever read on a message board. Kudos, sir.

Lol thank you! Not gonna lie, I was proud of myself when I thought of it.
