A question out of curiosity- Who came up with the name initially. A catholic school came up with blue demons as their unique name? Doesn't make sense.

The Origin of the Blue Demons
In 1900 the monogram “D” was selected for the uniforms of the first athletic team to represent DePaul University. As a result the nickname "D-men" originated which eventually evolved into "Demons." The “Blue” signifies loyalty and was chosen in 1901 by a vote of the student body to combine with “Demons.” And that’s how we became the DePaul Blue Demons.

Their secondary school color is Crimson Red so if you ever wonder why the BLUE Demons have red uniforms, its because of that.

I also like that throwback-jersey rivalry game idea. Everyone gets to wear Short-Shorts as well. Obekpa wont mind. Oh and Chuck Taylor All-Stars for shoes.
