Sorry but the Big East needs to be considered an elite conference! Anything less than that is unacceptable in my eyes.

Needs to be and reality are not always the same thing. I think we all want the Big East to be an elite conference, but reality may be that it is not elite.

Also, the definition of what constitutes an elite conference may differ from person to person.

For Bill Marsh

Just my opinion but TheBall seems to have a flair for the dramatic. I would take his posts with a grain of salt.

Reality is that the Big East is an elite conference this year. That is supported by all the evidence. People are entitled to their own opinions but they're not entitled to their own facts. There is an actual reality out there.

DePaul should not have lost to Lehigh and Illinois State at Home, and Ohio University, and Loyola Marymount in Honolulu, HI these are bad losses. Losing to George Washington in D.C., Oregon State in Corvallis, OR and Colorado in Honolulu, HI are not bad losses.

for those wondering if DePaul could get to be not so bad of a loss...

DePaul would need to win 4 more games to finish with a better than 200 RPI. IF they go 0-16 the rest of the way, their RPI projected to be 254.7.

Oh, and a loss to Illinois St isn't remotely in the same league as the others. their projected RPI is 91.5. Lehigh- 184.9, Ohio U 199.7, LMU 286.2. Heck, llinois St could wind up with a better final RPI than Colorado(83.6 projection).

Good post

The talent is there in Chicago. Just need a captain for the ship.

Ball, have you checked your private messages recently?
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Wow, dumb ass Ball takes this post, from LAST YEAR, and uses it against DemonLS. A total new low for him, and that's saying something.
