Sorry but the Big East needs to be considered an elite conference! Anything less than that is unacceptable in my eyes.

Needs to be and reality are not always the same thing. I think we all want the Big East to be an elite conference, but reality may be that it is not elite.
Also, the definition of what constitutes an elite conference may differ from person to person.
