BIG EAST
5. Villanova
20. Xavier
27. St. John's
28. Seton Hall
30. Butler
38. Providence
46. Georgetown
117. Marquette
127. Creighton
233. DePaul
With every game that they remain undefeated, Villanova's standing just gets stronger. Every win that Seton Hall gets with Whitehead out is huge for them. The loss to DePaul really hurt Marquette as we all knew, but Georgetown dropped more than I thought they would.
We're still looking at 7 teams in position for a tournament bid down the road

Georgetown dropped because of the big margin....
I wouldn't say Georgetown in position for a tourney bid with that. 46 is real fringe tourney with all the auto bids. Remember last year, last at large team was #47. Also being 17-12 as they're projecting- that tough to get in with that record. Would have to beat #2 team in the BET likely to make the tourney.
and I would say to get those ratings, we would have to have 6 and 7 finish with 9-9 records, and maybe 6 does, but 7th place teams just don't finish 9-9 all that much.

Margin of victory is not a factor in rpi. Not sure that it is in rpi forecast either (I think they just make every lower ranked rpi team win the matchups, it is not a projector that takes into account offensive and defensive efficiency like kenpom.)
