on a side note, does anyone know how the ratings have been for the American conference on ESPN? I still visit the "other" board and FS1 ratings are brought up now and again to bash the BE

Not sure about American Ratings, but the only games ESPN has broadcast on any of their channels have involved UCONN, Memphis, Cincinnati, SMU, and Tulsa (Las Vegas Invitational), and of those 5 only UCONN and Memphis have been on ESPN, itself. Surprisingly, games involving ECU, UCF, Temple, etc. haven't been on any of ESPN's main channels (ESPN or ESPN2).

Saw them promote New Years Eve Marathon a couple of times at the end of the Cuse/Nova game.

What a crappy Las Vegas Classic....I remember being there a few years ago when Creighton was in this tourney, we ended beating Fresno State and then Depaul for the Championship .
